CLARO LTD TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. I declare that all the information I have supplied to Claro Ltd is true and correct.

2. I agree to meet sensible health, safety & wellbeing needs of children in my care once I have found a family/child to care for.

3. I authorise Claro Ltd: 

• To collect & use my personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993,
• Contact the referees I have provided to Claro Ltd
• Make my name available to other Claro Ltd Area Offices for the purpose of referral to families

4. I understand to treat all information given to me regarding vacant positions as confidential and not to pass names and addresses of potential employers to employees or employees to employers.

5. I will inform Claro Ltd immediately if I have accepted any employment referred by Claro Ltd.

6. I understand that confidentiality is a vital part of the nanny profession and I will be loyal to both my employer and Claro Ltd.

7. If the employing family is registered with Home Grown Kids I will fulfil the expectations required of the nanny by The Nanny Service.

8. I understand that access to the information provided on registration and to any information acquired under any authority granted on this registration, shall be restricted to Claro Ltd and to any family to whom I am offered for interview.

9. I have not committed any crimes against children.

10. To my knowledge, no-one in my home has committed a crime against children.

11. I have had no convictions involving drugs, theft or assault in the last 3 years.

12. I authorise each family to whom I am offered for interview to contact the referees I have provided to Claro Ltd.

13. I acknowledge that Claro Ltd has the right in their sole discretion to:

• Accept or decline my application as a Nanny with Claro Ltd.
• Remove my name from the list of nannies without notice.
• To decide whether to refer me for interview to any family or not.

14. I will not leave anyone under the age of 14 at home alone or in the care of any younger children without an adult being present.

15. I understand that Claro Ltd is NOT my employer; they are purely the recruitment agency. If I work less than 30hrs or I am in a temp job, then I am self employed and responsible for my own taxes. If I work over 30hrs the family become my employer. I will supply a Tax Invoice for childcare services provided by me to either the family or Claro Ltd if requested.

16. I will NOT entertain friends of either sex at the families’ home, unless the parents have agreed to this beforehand, nor will I take the children in my care to friends’ houses, of either sex, without their prior knowledge and agreement.

I accept the offer of work in line with the terms and conditions set out above and will adhere to them when working with this Agency.
